Chris is very small[1], but has overcome this to become one of the top ranking soloists of our time, in addition to having run the Scottish Power pipe band since 2000(?) and the David Urquhart Travel band for some years prior.
He taught at the National Piping Centre for many years before leaving in 2014 to teach full time, as well as selling his own line of X-treme drone reeds. He has published three collections of music.
